“ Apple didn’t invent the wheel with its new iPhone, says Michael Rivera, it just added chrome. That remark was on target with comments from people around the world, who admire Apple Inc. for being able to create a marketing scheme that receives so much spin-off hype. The new mobile phone will be released at 6 p.m. in Apple stores and AT&T hub locations, but it won’t be available at the Sebring AT&T store, next to Sweetie Pye’s restaurant on U.S. 27, where Rivera is the manager. “It was Apple’s decision,” said Rivera.

“ With iPhone arriving June 29th at 6 p.m. in AT&T retail stores, the wait is almost over. Use our online store locator to find the closest AT&T store that sells Apple iPhone (limit one per person). We’ll show you maps, directions, and everything you need to get your hands on an iPhone as quickly as possible.

“ Thankfully, I got the chance to design a new interface for Google Docs & Spreadsheets that includes folders and some convenient ways to quickly manage and access all my documents (and if you’re like me, your own collection of online docs and spreadsheets is growing daily).
Darren Delaye
“ Instead of folders, Gmail uses labels to give you the functionality of folders, but with more flexibility.

“ Our goal is clearly not to find a qualified U.S. worker.
Lawrence M. Lebowitz, 2007
“ Clearly, there are no quick fixes currently available under our immigration laws that adequately address the acute employment shortage faced by our nation… There are, however, some options available that, with proper planning and counsel, can be successful in helping alleviate this problem.
Lawrence M. Lebowitz, 2003
“ Its wonderful looking at a website on XP, and seeing gorgeous text smoothing. Even the apps menu’s are smooth – presumably it’s using webkit to display the interface too?
Jon Hicks
“ …I’m curious why Apple’s default font rendering strategies, to my eye — and to the eyes of at least two other people — are visibly inferior to Microsoft’s on typical LCD displays. This is exactly the kind of graphic designer-ish detail I’d expect Cupertino to get right, so it’s all the more surprising to me that they apparently haven’t.

What number might Dale Jr. use in '08?
With the possibility of Dale Earnhardt Jr. leaving Dale Earnhardt Inc. at the end of 2007, there is great speculation as to what number he would use. A list of potential replacements has included all of the following: “09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0”It is still not the usual practice of NASCAR to display numbers in hexadecimal form unless they are below 09 or below. Current examples of this would be the 01 driven by Mark Martin and Regan Smith (Ginn Racing) and the 07 of Clint Bowyer (Richard Childress Racing). That would eliminates F9, 9D, E3, 5B, D8, C5, and C0 from the list of possibles.
It is also probable that the 11 and 41 would be unavailable as they are currently in use by Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Reed Sorenson (Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates).
Of the remaining numbers (09, 02, 74, 56, and 63), the most logical, of course, would be 88 (currently driven by Ricky Rudd for Robert Yates Racing) but this would be unlikely if DEI and RYR merge. Although it might still happen if they decided to keep the 38 (driven by David Gilliland) and let the 88 number go. As Rudd could easily retire again after this season, this might be the best solution for everyone.
Hopefully, though, it will not come to that.
